We’re thrilled to announce that the European Council for Small Business (ICSB) and the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) are running a new Competition for Case Studies in Entrepreneurship. The competition is open to any person who is a member of ECSB / ICSB or is attending the ICSB 2014 World Conference. The prize for the competition is €250. April 30th 2014 is the deadline for submission to the competition and winners will be announced in June 2014.
The competition is open to case studies from across all entrepreneurship contexts. These contexts can include government, public sector, not-for-profit, educational institutions and minority backgrounds. It is anticipated that preferred cases will offer insight into entrepreneurship contexts, organisational backgrounds and geographic areas that are not regularly featured in the current stock of entrepreneurship cases. The case must have been originally written in 2013 or 2014 and it cannot have been published prior to the closing date for entries.
The length of the case study and the style of presentation are both open so as to encourage freedom of expression. Further enquiries concerning the competition can be emailed to thomas.cooney@dit.ie or iandoli@unina.it who will be the leaders of this initiative. A case writing workshop will be held on June 11th as part of the ICSB 2014 Pre-Conference Activities.
